Secondary Girls’ School

Message from the School Principal

Mrs. Mona Al-Taher

School Principal

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. All praise is due to Allah, God of all worlds. And peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Mohammad, the best of teachers, and upon his family and companions, all together.

We are in the halls of International Pioneers Academy “Girls’ Secondary School”, an educational edifice we are proud to have as a beacon of knowledge, a home for values, and a cradle of hope. We believe that true education is not limited to transferring knowledge only; rather, it goes beyond that to build a generation that is faithful to its God, proud of its religion, firmly grounded in its values, loving toward its nation, aware of its role, and capable of creating positive change with confidence and trust. We also hold a deeply rooted belief that knowledge is the highest path to the advancement of nations; therefore, we strive to instill in our students a love for learning, to nurture their passion for research and understanding, and to equip them with the tools of conscious thinking and creativity, so they can meet the challenges of the modern era with confidence and capability.

We work as well to cultivate noble Islamic values, to strengthen the spirit of initiative, to reinforce belonging, and to entrench the highest morals that form the foundation of a balanced personality.

And as we believe that real partnership between school and family is the essential pillar of success in the educational process, we extend our sincere thanks to our honorable parents for the valuable trust you have placed in us, a trust that we consider a trust on our shoulders which we will uphold with dedication and sincerity, so that we may be worthy of your expectations, and so that we may draw together the features of a bright and promising future for your daughters and ours.

In this context, we must also acknowledge the efforts of the teaching and administrative staff in our school. They carry the message of education with integrity, they strive to ignite the flame of knowledge in the minds of our students, and they care for their academic and educational journey within a safe and motivating learning environment built on respect, cooperation, and creativity.

We ask Allah to bless all of our efforts, to grant success to our students in all that is good and beneficial, and to make IPA Schools a beacon of knowledge and values that produce generations who contribute to the elevation of their country and their nation.

Curriculum

Our school follows the Ministry of Education’s curriculum for all subjects as a foundational guide, while also offering the following specialized programs:

  • Quranic Studies:

The Islamic Studies Department at the International Pioneers Academy Schools plays a crucial role in instilling values, ethics, and positive attitudes related to the Quran and Sunnah, as well as reinforcing national identity and cultural heritage. To this end, the Academy has integrated a weekly extra Quranic studies class into both the national and international programs from kindergarten to the tenth grade. The school offers scholarships of up to 100% of tuition fees for students who memorize the Quran, starting with five parts, depending on the level of memorization. Morning Quranic clubs motivate students to memorize, recite, and master Tajweed rules. The department also organizes internal competitions and prepares students for active participation in external contests, fostering an environment that promotes Islamic values.

  • English Language:

At the International Pioneers Academy Schools, the English Language Department in the national section educates students from the fourth to the ninth grade using curricula based on international standards. These curricula are designed to foster a love of reading and provide
essential linguistic support through phonemic awareness lessons, helping students decode words and accurately read texts. This foundation enables them to comprehend both fictional and non-fictional reading materials relevant to real-life situations.

The curriculum includes diverse reading strategies to deepen students’ understanding and critical thinking, transitioning them from learning to read to reading to learn. It is also rich in graphic organizers that aid in analyzing concepts and texts, leading to high-quality writing about what they have read and learned.

Additionally, the curriculum promotes inquiry-based learning through essential questions that drive motivation and critical thinking, encouraging effective dialogue and language use during conversations.

It is designed with a comprehensive set of learning resources that inspire creativity through interactive activities, educational games, and digital exercises, which support both school and home learning, making technology an integral part of the educational experience.

  • STEAM Program:

The STEAM program provides students with integrated experiences in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, fostering connections and integration between these fields. It is taught in labs equipped with digital tools and is designed for students from kindergarten to the eighth grade.

For seventh and eighth graders, the program is delivered through project-based learning, integrated with science and mathematics subjects.

  • Computer Studies:

The interactive Hellocode platform has been adopted for teaching computer science.

Hellocode is an electronic platform aimed at teaching children programming and coding through storytelling inspired by daily life.

The connection with Hellocode characters, along with innovative lessons and fun exercises, creates a comprehensive learning environment that equips children with important life skills such as problem-solving, computational thinking, creativity, and logical reasoning—all through the enjoyment of learning.
