Curriculum

Our schools follow the Ministry of Education curriculum for all subjects, in addition to:

  1. Quranic Studies.
  2. English Language.
  3. Computer Science.
  4. Math and Science Curriculum.
  5. Mental Math (ACMAS).
  6. STEAM.
  • Quranic Studies:

The Islamic Education Department at the International Pioneers Academy is a fundamental part of the institution. Through its diverse programs, it aims to instil values, ethics, and positive attitudes related to the Quran and Sunnah, while also strengthening a sense of citizenship and connection to cultural heritage. The academy ensures that both the national and international programs allocate an additional weekly Quranic Studies class from Kindergarten through the tenth grade, following a well-structured program and distinctive curriculum. Additionally, the academy offers scholarships of up to 100% of tuition fees to students who memorize the Quran, awarded progressively based on the number of parts memorized, starting from five parts and above. Morning Quran clubs are also organized to motivate students to memorize, recite, and master the rules of Quranic recitation. The department also organizes internal competitions across all sections and prepares students to actively participate in external competitions. Furthermore, the department is committed to fostering a positive environment that reinforces the authentic Islamic values among students.

  • English Language:

At the International Pioneers Academy , the English language is taught to students from first to third grade in the national section. The curriculum is based on global common standards, designed to foster a love of reading among all students. It provides essential linguistic support through phonemic awareness lessons, helping students decode, accurately read words and vocabulary, which aids in their understanding of both fictional and non-fictional reading texts that reflect real-life situations.

The curriculum is distinguished by its incorporation of various reading strategies that enable students to deepen their understanding and thinking about texts. This transition moves them from learning to read to reading to learn. Additionally, the curriculum is rich in graphic organizers, which help students analyze concepts and texts, leading them to write high-quality content about what they have read and learned.

The curriculum also features inquiry-based learning, with a central question for each unit that stimulates students’ motivation to research, encourages critical thinking, and guides them towards effective dialogue and the proficient use of language in conversation. It is designed with a comprehensive set of learning resources that inspire students to move beyond traditional problem-solving methods through creative activities, interactive educational games, and electronic exercises that support learning at school and at home with parents, making technology a purposeful tool for learning. The curriculum is interactive and enjoyable.

  • Computer Science:

Interactive Hellocode Curriculum for Computer Science:

The International Pioneers Academy has adopted the interactive Hellocode platform, which aims to teach children coding and command writing. Children begin learning through storytelling inspired by their daily lives. The connection with Hellocode characters, along with innovative lessons and fun exercises, creates a holistic learning environment that provides children with essential life skills such as problem-solving, computational and analytical thinking, creativity, and logical reasoning—all through fun.

  • Math and Science Curriculum for the First Three Grades:

This curriculum is tailored for students in the first three grades, aiming to develop their cognitive and scientific abilities. It covers the standards included in the updated curriculum for science and mathematics and focuses on teaching students scientific research methodologies, inquiry, and problem-solving, while enriching their scientific knowledge in English.

  • Mental Arithmetic Program (ACMAS):

An academic program designed to develop mental mathematics, comprehension abilities, visual memory, imagination, analysis, and focus, opening doors for students to achieve academic and practical excellence throughout their lives.

  • STEAM Program:

This program provides students with integrated experiences in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, fostering connections and integration among these fields. The program is taught in English in labs equipped with digital tools and is available for students from kindergarten through eighth grade.
