Message from the School Principal
Mrs. Mona Al-Taher
School Principal
Praise be to God, who created man and taught him to speak, opening the doors of knowledge and learning. Peace and blessings be upon the guide of humanity, our beloved Prophet, and his family and companions.
The rise and progress of nations are measured by their advancement in education. Observing the present, one realizes the immense responsibility placed on educators, especially in this era of knowledge, educational, and technological revolutions. Education has become the driving force for all, and we are obliged to keep pace with these developments, teaching our sons and daughters the importance of adapting to change while maintaining the principles of our noble religion and embodying its morals, all while envisioning the future with a conscious, integrated, and open mind.
We consider education a mission and a calling. Our dedicated care for our students and our commitment to teaching them is a definite contribution to shaping the future and the glory of the nation, which eagerly awaits the rise of its children, who are the true source of its honour and pride.
My sincere thanks and appreciation to the esteemed parents for their trust in us. I pray that God helps us to fulfil this responsibility to the best of our ability, and may we be among those mentioned in the words of our noble Prophet, peace be upon him: “Indeed, Allah, His Angels, the inhabitants of the heavens and the earth, even the ant in its hole and the fish, send blessings upon those who teach people goodness.”
Peace and blessings be upon you.

Curriculum
Our school follows the Ministry of Education’s curriculum for all subjects as a foundational guide, while also offering the following specialized programs:
Quranic Studies:
The Islamic Studies Department at the International Pioneers Academy Schools plays a crucial role in instilling values, ethics, and positive attitudes related to the Quran and Sunnah, as well as reinforcing national identity and cultural heritage. To this end, the Academy has integrated a weekly extra Quranic studies class into both the national and international programs from kindergarten to the tenth grade. The school offers scholarships of up to 100% of tuition fees for students who memorize the Quran, starting with five parts, depending on the level of memorization. Morning Quranic clubs motivate students to memorize, recite, and master Tajweed rules. The department also organizes internal competitions and prepares students for active participation in external contests, fostering an environment that promotes Islamic values.
English Language:
At the International Pioneers Academy Schools, the English Language Department in the national section educates students from the fourth to the ninth grade using curricula based on international standards. These curricula are designed to foster a love of reading and provide
essential linguistic support through phonemic awareness lessons, helping students decode words and accurately read texts. This foundation enables them to comprehend both fictional and non-fictional reading materials relevant to real-life situations.
The curriculum includes diverse reading strategies to deepen students’ understanding and critical thinking, transitioning them from learning to read to reading to learn. It is also rich in graphic organizers that aid in analyzing concepts and texts, leading to high-quality writing about what they have read and learned.
Additionally, the curriculum promotes inquiry-based learning through essential questions that drive motivation and critical thinking, encouraging effective dialogue and language use during conversations.
It is designed with a comprehensive set of learning resources that inspire creativity through interactive activities, educational games, and digital exercises, which support both school and home learning, making technology an integral part of the educational experience.
ACMAS (Abacus Mental Arithmetic System):
This academic program aims to develop mental arithmetic skills, comprehension abilities, visual memory, imagination, analysis, and concentration, opening pathways for students to achieve academic and practical excellence throughout their lives. It is available for students in the fourth, fifth, and sixth grades.
STEAM Program:
The STEAM program provides students with integrated experiences in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, fostering connections and integration between these fields. It is taught in English in labs equipped with digital tools and is designed for students from kindergarten to the eighth grade.
For seventh and eighth graders, the program is delivered through project-based learning, integrated with science and mathematics subjects.
Turkish Language:
With the rapid technological advancements and global interconnectedness, the world has become a small village, highlighting the importance of learning additional languages. We have chosen to offer Turkish as an enrichment subject, presented to students in an engaging and appropriate manner.
Computer Studies:
The interactive Hellocode platform has been adopted for teaching computer science.
Hellocode is an electronic platform aimed at teaching children programming and coding through storytelling inspired by daily life.
The connection with Hellocode characters, along with innovative lessons and fun exercises, creates a comprehensive learning environment that equips children with important life skills such as problem-solving, computational thinking, creativity, and logical reasoning—all through the enjoyment of learning.
